  • The basics about being fragrance-free, why it matters, and what chemical sensitivities are
  • Tips on making your home, office, event, or any space at UCLA fragrance-free and accessible
  • Information on research around fragrances and chemical sensitivities

Effective July 1, 2020, CSW publications will adhere to the Chicago Manual of Style (CMS).

Online access to the CMS style guide requires subscription. You should be able to access the website by first logging in to your institutional VPN.

The UCLA Center for the Study of Women’s publications from past research projects and Thinking Gender conferences are publicly available on the eScholarship repository of the California Digital Library. The website includes the following publications:

  • CSW Update Newsletter – From 1986 to 2015, CSW published a newsletter, and individual articles with some complete issues were uploaded to the eScholarship site. Complete issues from 2006-2015 are also available on our website.
  • Thinking Gender PapersThinking Gender is a public conference highlighting graduate student research on women, sexuality and gender across all disciplines and historical periods. CSW published papers from participants and related to conference themes from 2007 to 2020.
  • Gender and Everyday Water Use in Los Angeles Working Paper Series – In 2019, CSW published this series to present preliminary results from the Gender and Everyday Water Use in Los Angeles Study conducted by faculty and student researchers at the UCLA Center for the Study of Women.
