Celebrating the 2025 CSW | Streisand Center Award Recipients
On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the UCLA Botanical Garden bloomed with joy, pride, and purpose as the UCLA Center for the Study of Women | Streisand Center gathered our community to honor the 2024–2025 award recipients. Faculty, students, family, and friends came together to celebrate the bold, rigorous, and deeply transformative work being done in the name of feminist research, justice, and care.
From research that advances Black feminist thought to community-based approaches to healing, from archival inquiries into reproductive justice to groundbreaking analyses of sexuality, labor, and state power, this year’s cohort of honorees embodies the Center’s commitment to intersectional, transdisciplinary scholarship that addresses the most urgent issues of our time.
We extend our deepest thanks to our donors and the awards committees, whose thoughtfulness and care made this celebration possible.
