Join us for Dr. Jessica Harris in conversation with Dr. Shannon Speed about her recently published book, Hear Our Stories: Campus Sexual Violence, Intersectionality, and How to Build a Better University.
Jessica Harris is an Associate Professor in the UCLA Department of Education. In Hear Our Stories, Harris draws on interviews with 34 Women of Color student survivors, campus staff, and institutional documents from three universities to demonstrate how we can use intersectionality to inform more effective sexual violence prevention and response efforts.
