Request to Book a Meeting Space at CSW|Streisand Center

CSW|Streisand Center is an organized research unit that develops and coordinates research on women and gender-related issues. We work towards a world in which education and scholarship are tools for social justice feminism, improving the lives of people of all genders. 

We are pleased to offer the CSW|Streisand Center conference space for meetings and gatherings that support our mission statement above. Please review the information below to ensure a smooth booking process and to set your expectations for using our space. Note that booking via Calendly DOES NOT mean your booking has been confirmed. Official confirmation will be sent via email by a staff member in 1-3 business days. 

Booking Details

Who Can Book

  • Affiliated Groups: CSW|Streisand Center affiliated groups and campus partners (including, but not limited to, CSWAC, BFI faculty and students, and S&A students)
  • Faculty/Researchers: Faculty/researchers working on social justice feminism
  • Students/Student Groups: Undergraduate and graduate students working on social justice feminism 

Booking Requirements

  • Room Capacity: Up to 15 people
  • Booking Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm
  • Booking Increments: 2-hour increments
  • Reservations must be made at least 5 business days in advance

Location & Amenities

  • Address: 1500 Public Affairs Building. View our location and parking map (PDF).
  • Amenities: The space includes a DTEN video conferencing system, whiteboards and markers, table meeting space, hot and cold water cooler, and is ideal for small, collaborative groups to hold meetings/gatherings/working sessions/study sessions, etc. Please note that restrooms are located outside of the center. 
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a private space. CSW|Streisand Center staff and student workers will be working within the office suite and will be available if you need any assistance.

To request to book the space, please fill out the Calendly  request form linked below. Filling out the request form DOES NOT confirm your request. Our staff will confirm your booking via email within 1-3 business days.
