Lisa Lowe’s groundbreaking book Immigrant Acts: On Asian American Cultural Politics made Asian American gendered radicalization central to understanding the relationship of state, capital, and culture. This 30th anniversary symposium traces its profound impact on a broad and sometimes unexpected set of debates across disciplines, geographies, and generations.
