Join the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television for a screening of Cookie Queens – a critically-acclaimed documentary that celebrates girlhood in all its complexity. The joy, the pressure, the friendship, and the fierce ambition that runs through one of America’s most beloved traditions: the annual Girl Scout Cookie sale. Hosted by the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television in partnership with the Center for Media, Entertainment & Sports at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, the screening will be followed by a Q &A with award-winning director, Alysa Nahmias hosted by Kristy Guevara-Flanagan, Vice Chair of Undergraduate Studies, Professor of Film, and Head of Documentary at the UCLA Dept of Film, Television & Digital Media.
