Wei Si Nic Yiu (姚煒詩) is a Gender Studies PhD student, who also received a Master of Arts in Gender Studies at the Women and Gender Studies Institute at the University of Toronto, Canada. Their work is informed and inspired by their own experiences of migration as a queer Asian in Hong Kong, Beijing, Toronto, and now Los Angeles. Their research is impossible without Black feminist and queer of color critique scholarship’s visionary world-making capacity.
