Speakers are Josen Diaz\, author of Postcolonial Configurations: Dictatorship\, the Racial Cold War\, and Filipino America(Duke University Press) and Genevieve Clutario\, author of Beauty Regimes: a History of Power and Modern Empire in the Philippines\, 1898-1941 (Duke University Press). Diaz is Associate Professor of Ethnic Studies\, University of San Diego and Clutario is Associate Professor of American Studies at Wellesley College. \nThis event received support from the Center for Southeast Asian Studies\, Asian American Studies Department\, Center for the Study of Women\, Asian American Studies Center\, and the Office of Instructional Development. \nView event flier.
